Hello!  I’m Tessa Skeens,  author of Secrets of a Stager and Owner and Head Designer at Hampton Redesign, a full service real estate staging and design company.

I’ve had a long career as a well respected creative designer and art director. I turned those marketing and design skills towards the art of redesigning and staging a home for sale .

My lifelong fascination with homes, architecture and interior design was the inspiration to turn my extensive marketing, creative expertise and passion for real estate into creative home staging and redesign. Staging homes artfully is my mission and and helping homeowners learn how to successfully prepare their homes to achieve the best return on investment is my reward.

Creating warm and inviting spaces is just the beginning. I think it takes that extra effort to present a home at it’s best. I’m a big believer in focusing on and bringing out the best in every home I enter. It’s your home and an asset, so why not make the effort to present it at it’s best? Whether you are selling or “dwelling” (not moving) your home is your sanctuary from the world. I believe it should feel like an oasis of calm and security.
